Web Forms Licensing Scenarios

For Web Forms scenarios, Chart FX 7 includes 1 Production Server license, 1 Test Server license and 1 Developer Seat license. Depending on your needs, you can purchase additional Production Server, Test Server and/or Developer Seat licenses separately. Here are some sample scenarios for Web Forms licensing:

• Scenario 1

  

  1 developer working on a web project using 1 test server and 1 production server.

  Required Products

  This scenario requires 1 Developer Seat license, 1 Test Server license and 1 Production Server license.
  The recommended purchase would be:

  • 1 Chart FX 7 (CNF70PS or CNF70P)

• Scenario 2

  

  3 developers working on any number of web projects using 2 test/development servers and 3 production servers. All 3 developers will be using Chart FX.

  Required Products

  This scenario requires 2 Test Server licenses, 3 Developer Seat licenses, and 3 Production Server licenses. The recommended purchase in this case would be the following:

  • 1 Chart FX 7 (CNF70PS or CNF70P)
  • 2 Chart FX 7 Additional Developer Seat Licenses (CNF70D)
  • 1 Additional Chart FX 7 Test Server License (CNF70T)
  • 2 Additional Chart FX 7 Production Server Licenses (CNF70A)

Windows Forms Licensing Scenarios

For Windows Forms scenarios, Chart FX 7 is licensed on a per-developer basis, royalty-free for redistribution with your applications. Chart FX 7 includes 1 Developer Seat license. You can purchase additional developer seat licenses based on your needs. Here are some sample scenarios for Windows Form licensing:

• Scenario 1

  

  1 developer working on any number of Windows Forms applications.

  Required Products

  Only one license for development will be required. The recommended purchase would be:

  • 1 Chart FX 7 (CNF70PS or CNF70P)

• Scenario 2

  

  3 developers working on any number of Windows Forms applications. All 3 developers will be using Chart FX.

  Required Products

  Each developer will need his/her own Development license. The recommended purchase in this case would be the following:

  • 1 Chart FX 7 (CNF70PS or CNF70P)
  • 2 Chart FX 7 Additional Developer Seat Licenses (CNF70D)
