Chart FX for WPF
Development Licensing
For development, Chart FX for WPF is licensed on a per-developer basis. Development
licenses allow your developers to fully integrate and test Chart FX into your WPF
applications. However, applications built with a Development license will show a
"Not for Production" message when deployed to a non-licensed machine.
Deployment Licensing
Chart FX for WPF deployment is licensed based on a per Application Deployment model.
In other words, you will need one deployment license for each application you plan
to deploy internally within your company, regardless of the number of users. Also,
if you will redistribute your application or plan to deploy beyond internal use,
you may contact sales@softwarefx.com to
discuss potential licensing deals for external deployment.
For Example, if you have a team of 5 developers working on adding Charts to Internal
Application "A", each one of those developers will require its own development license.
Once Internal Application "A" is ready to be deployed on the desktops of the organization's
users, someone within the organization needs to obtain a deployment license which
consists of a License String that is passed to the chart through code. Once the
application is compiled with the deployment license, the application can be deployed
to as many users as required as long as they are all part of the same organization.
